Well now I see why this company is #19 of boat tours. Basically a tourist trap and your many can be way better spent. Jazz was a little of a nice bonus but didnā€™t get people to dance or really pay attention. My biggest complaint is that I didnā€™t learn anything new about the port, city of NO, or fascinating. Seemed like the guide was reading from a script and would be so repetitive. We spent so much of the tour just looking out at other boats.

We will certainly share this with marine operations. It is a live narration as there is often new things on the river daily.

Travel with husband and a 4 yr old and 5 yr old. Paid $126 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Arrived at the dock on time. The lady at the ticket booth said adults required to have vaccination cards. Checked. Children 5 and under does not need vaccination record. Checked. About to get on the steam boat. A very bad man with red head(called himself captain), asked how old are my kids. I said 4 & 5. He refused to let us on the boat no matter how much I explained to him the lady at the booth said 5 years old and under are not required to have vaccination record. He insisted we go get the child tested before he can let us on. We ran out of time. I came back to the booth and told the lady about the horrible captain. The lady went back to look at the age policy and said ā€œohā€. And so she went ahead and cancel our trip but couldnā€™t refund because we booked through a third party(Viator). She insisted we contact Viator to request for a refund. No phone number to Viator to reach help. I emailed Viator and Iā€™m now waiting for a reply.

The changed the ages on the vaccination from 12 and older to 5 and over in less than 30 days. We apologize that the Ticket Booth staff were confused. They should have known better. It is true that we have to send it to Viator since they have the funds. We send through our approval but they do the refund. if you have not heard from them yet please reach out to us at GuestExperiences.com

The day was our 39th anniversary. My husband had never seen New Orleans. Needless to say we were surprised at how bad the French Quarter was. The tour we chose needs to do a better explanation of their ā€œCity Tourā€. I wasnā€™t expecting a ride to look at houses, and certainly not an ā€œextendedā€ explanation of how people are buried in the area. Plus, our two tour guides gave conflicting information on that topic.

We would like to address this but we are a bit confused about two City Tours. We do one that is on a bus coach to tour over 15 neighborhoods with brief stop at the Cemetery to discuss our traditions. We list the places we drive through in our tour listed on our website. We also visit City Park. Whatever you perceive about the French Quarter is not our total responsibility as a company although you wrote it up in our review
