We had mixed feelings about this experience. We purchased the tour with lunch included. We boarded the boat at 2:30 and was directed to the dining room. After waiting a few minutes to get sat and get our drinks, we were told to sit and wait for a server to bring us our meal. It was about 2:45 when the server dropped off our plates, then she informed us that the next seating was at 3 and we had to be out by 2:55. We couldn't believe it. When we told her that we felt rushed, she said "yeah they're talking about adjusting the dining schedule". After a very rushed lunch we decided to walk around a bit. It was so hot! I know the tour can't control the weather, but there aren't many areas to sit in the shade or A/C so it was a really miserable couple of hours. The band was good though. Overall we wouldn't do this tour again. There wasn't really much to see of the city from the river and being stuck on a boat in 98Ā° heat for 2 hours was brutal.

We apologize for your experience. We have share this information on the lunch with our food and beverage director. It should have not been so rushed and with a hot day in Louisiana, we certainly should have been able to provide you with a cooler placement, but wanting an outside experience is difficult on some days.

The tour and the staff were really cool. The RB and rice and bread pudding were good but not the other stuff. The info and the staff were the highlight of the cruise.

Very relaxing boat ride while being informative on the history of New Orleans and the surrounding areas. The jazz band was GREAT! We bought the dining package and the food was great. We were expecting sandwiches but we were served a full plated meal. Since we dined first we did miss out on the shaded seating area but honestly I was ok with that. I prefer to sit/stand along the railing so I can see more. We would definitely do this experience again.

Thank you and we hope you join us again. Every day on the river can give new experiences even to our rivermen.
