The Steamboat NATCHEZ is taking some time off, but her sister vessel will be taking her place. You'll get the same authentic experience of a grand paddlewheeler on a leisurely, two-hour cruise on the mighty Mississippi.
In order to help preserve the French Quarter from vehicular traffic, it is requested that you please walk, if possible, to the convenient tour departure point - just a short stroll from most downtown hotels.
The riverboat is handicap accessible. However, access to the top & bottom decks are by stairs only. Please call us with any questions before finalizing your plans if you have questions on access or personal equipment.
Infant rates apply provided they do not occupy a seat.
The riverboat cruises rain or shine.

Jazz band guy is very good, singing “Saint go marching in” while view in Mississippi River is boring. But this good band, and rolling part at back of ship is very amazing. This ship should run by coal energy.

Riverboats used both methods of energy - coal and steam. The Steamboat NATCHEZ, owned by our company and undergoing renovation, is the last fully steam powered vessel on the Mississippi River today. Her steam system was pulled from a variety of vessels as they are not manufactured any longer.
