Amazing day trip! Beautiful sunny and warm day (mid Oct) Beautiful vessel and it's full of history! Day trip with family to the battlefield. Had a great time on the boat, great selection of drinks and snacks aboard (dining package available) Charles (guide) was so fascinating to listen too both on and off the bought, he delivered historical and personal facts very well and gave some fantastic touches to the tour. Really enjoyed the battlefield portion especially as we love history and would 100% recommend getting off the boat and having a look around and take in the scenery/history. Definitely recommend booking!

We stayed in the French Quarter in Bourbon Street. Night time there was one long all night street party, especially Frid to Sun. If Iā€™d known would have booked our hotel elsewhere and just visited Bourbon St. The noise was deafening. The Mississippi River cruise with lunch and Jazz band aboard as well was delightful. The French style terrace houses were lovely-did an informative walking tour. The history, street art, and musicians were unique. The food was good. Did the Oak Plantation tour. Quite an insight into plantation life and the slaves who worked and lived there.
