I booked this cruise to see New Orleans from the water. Boarding was well organized and went smoothly. We went to the top deck because there was also a Dixieland band there, and I love music. The narration told us all about the city and what we were viewing. I also took advantage of the bar to get refreshment. They had an optional lunch on board, but we were allowed to bring on our own food, which was very accommodating. All in all, it was a lovely ride, with entertainment. The ship was clean and had lots of room for all who boarded. I would definitely recommend this for someone wanting an authenticate paddlewheel experience. The only issue I had was with the photographs that were taken before we boarded. I wanted to buy them, but the city name on the life preserver under my photo was missing. My friend and I made a deal to cut the price for our photos.

The most memorable thing was when I had to fight someone for seat for my family. And the way we had to stand the whole trip due to no seating!

There is seating for all but if it was busy there might not have been in the areas you desired. Our apology for your encounter with the other guest.
