The Steamboat NATCHEZ is taking some time off, but her sister vessel will be taking her place. You'll get the same authentic experience of a grand paddlewheeler on a leisurely, two-hour cruise on the mighty Mississippi.
In order to help preserve the French Quarter from vehicular traffic, it is requested that you please walk, if possible, to the convenient tour departure point - just a short stroll from most downtown hotels.
The riverboat is handicap accessible. However, access to the top & bottom decks are by stairs only. Please call us with any questions before finalizing your plans if you have questions on access or personal equipment.
Infant rates apply provided they do not occupy a seat.
The riverboat cruises rain or shine.

The food was amazing! It rained, so we really couldn't get the full experience of being outside on deck.

Moored just below the French Quarter is a fine example of the traditional river paddle steamer sitting and waiting to take its passengers for a little trip down river and back while they take in the sights, listen to some fine old jazz tunes from the live band and partake of lunch and maybe a drink or two, served at the tables in the ships dining room before returning to the deck and catching the last of the sights of the city before arriving back at the dock. The steamer at the moment is not Natchez but a very similar vessel, the City of New Orleans but the experience is just about the same and it is a very pleasant way to pass a couple of hours and taste the flavour of the old Mississippi.

Very nice enjoyed the scenery. Employees were very inviting. Jazz music sound beautiful. It was dazzling! I would do it again.
