We booked the lunch cruise on this Steamboat while in town for a conference. Seemed a fun activity to do that was reasonably priced @ 52 each. The cruise left at 11:30A, boarding started at 11A. The line was HUGE and given it was blazing hot/humid out we just stood under the awning and were some of the last people to get on board. There are four levels with indoor seating on 2 of the levels with plenty of outdoor seating as well but we did not last long outside given the weather. We ordered a couple of cocktails on level 3 that were refreshing and enjoyed watching the scenery go by from the indoor AC table we planted ourselves at. At 12:15 you go down to the dining room for lunch. They had it very organized where the servers make you a plate and bring it over to you. You do have to go up and stand in line if you want coffee, iced tea, etc. The lunch was what I believe is a traditional Cajun type lunch -- pasta salad, jambalaya, red beans/rice, fried fish, bread pudding. It was good, and plenty of food. Our server delivered two plates and we never really saw them again which was fine. The cruise itself lasted about 2 hours, and disembarking was relatively quick. Definitely a fun activity to do if you are limited on time.

We had a wonderful time on this cruise. We were worried that with so many people that it would feel crowded, but the boat was large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The food was surprisingly delicious and the Dixieland music was a wonderful bonus. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time on the water.
