Folding wheelchairs are allowed, but the driver is not allowed to pick up a person to help them gain entrance. The customer must get into the minibus by themselves or with assistance from family or friends.
Please note you are not guaranteed to see a gator. They hibernate in winter months but are easily spotted in spring, summer, and fall.

Barataria Preserve

On this tour, you will enjoy a fully narrated swamp tour by one of our local captains on the comfort of a swamp tour boat. Our tour boats feature a roof, cushioned seats, windows that can be raised or lowered for the weather, restroom, and plenty of standing and walking room. You may even experience a close encounter with some of the local swamp life. The Swamp Tour by Tour Boat with Pickup does include ground transportation.

We loved the guide! We did the “slow” boat ( not the airboat) and it was pretty fast. Lots to see, could move around to catch a view of the many alligators. Great afternoon overall, including the transport from the city

This tour was great! The pick-up at our hotel was right on time with a cheerful driver who told us a lot about New Orleans. We were well on time to visit the shop, restrooms etc. The tour was great, really an addition to your citytrip to New Orleans! Would definitely recommend!

Captain Ernie rocks! Very knowledgeable about the bayou and of Louisiana in general. Was fascinating to learn from a locale perspective. Holding a baby gator is such a unique experience, too!
