This review is for the gravity zip lining activity. This is one the best things I've ever done! I've never gone zip lining before, but the guides explained everything in great detail and made everyone very comfortable. The first two zips are training lines to get you comfortable with taking the leap (and form). The last four zips are an absolute rush - 1,400, 1,600, 1,800, and 3,100 feet! Zipping through the air at almost 50 miles an hour for over half a mile - wow! This is worth every bit of the cost! There was even beer on the bus back afterward. I have yet to find any other zip lining courses that appeal to me, as they just wouldn't compare to this.

We have gone through the Gravity zip line course three years in a row, and I got to watch my oldest daughter tackle her fear of heights this time. The staff does put the fear of God into you, and stresses doing it the right and safe way. The rigs and the harnesses are all top rated, and you feel extremely safe once you leave the platforms and begin your zips. The guides make it fun with a lot of bad jokes and just terrific personalities. We'll tackle the Tree Tops Adventure next year.

My wife and I traveled to West Virginia for the first time for her birthday to go Zip Lining at Adventures on the Gorge. We have gone Ziplining a handful of times at Mammoth Cave and the underground zip lining at Louisville, KY to name a few and I can honestly say that the Gravity Zip Tour hands down was the most exhilarating. adrenaline rush that we have experienced thus far while ziplining. The views that you see while flying at speeds of over 50 MPH from mountain top to mountain is absolutely breathtaking. Being so high above the canyons gives you the ability to see the landscape for miles! The guides that we had whom I believe were named Zayne and Zlana, (I am sure that I mispelled them) were very friendly and made sure that first and foremost that we felt safe and were able to relax and enjoy ourselves during the zip lining experience. On a side note I was very impressed with the communication of the staff from those who answer the phones and booked the adventure to the guides who partake in the experience. I had actually forgotten that when I called to inquire about the zip line experience versus taking way to much time looking at the many zip line tours that West Virginia offers as I know almost nothing about West Virginia that I had told the woman that we were going zip lining for my wife's birthday. When we first got on the bus to go to the first zip line location both of the guides made a point to mention her birthday and hope that she has had a great birthday so far. To me this shows that the staff here truly care about their customers. Also the woman who I can't remember her name, but was the bus driver of our trip was awesome and very professional as well. We were not used to driving on the country roads of West Virginia and boy did she know how to handle a "short bus" off roading and made the short rides between zip lines quite the adventure themselves! All in all I was of course extremely impressed by the zip lines themselves, but also how the guides on our tour clearly enjoyed their jobs. They maintained a level of professionalism and safety throughout the entire tour by always keeping an eye on us while we were zipping to make sure that we were doing everything correctly while at the sametime letting us know what not to do throughout the experience. In addition to that we really appreciated how the guides made sure to keep a friendly, funny conversation going during the time with them so that we all felt comfortable while zip lining. My wife and I have been ziplining before in which we had fun ziplining, but their was very minimal interaction between us and the guides other than letting us know when we could gon the zip lines. I am very glad that I chose this companies zip line experience and would recommend it to anyone that thinking about going to West Virginia looking for some adventure and adrenaline! Sincerely, Ryan and Kayla Powell
