We did the 2.5-hour Sunset U-Drive UTV tour. We had a blast driving the CanAm 1000 Commander. Nerve-wracking going up Hell's Backbone right at the start, with narrow drop offs on either side. What these machines can do is amazing. The tour gets you into the backcountry to see some amazing landscapes, and even real dinosaur tracks. The staff were friendly, and the guide was great and knowledgeable. It was a bit pricey at $422 in total for three of us, but we felt it was worth the thrill. Just a couple small complaints - 1) it was supposed to be a sunset tour and billed as being able to watch the sunset from a vantage point, but by the time we got to the vantage point the sun was already below the horizon, so we never actually got to see the sunset. 2) the email confirmation after we reserved the tour a few weeks ago said that drinks and snacks would be provided. They offered water bottles before and during the trip, but no snacks. The trip started at 5:30 (for orientation) and got back around 7:30. By the time we checked out and were looking for dinner around 8pm we were starving. Had we known that they weren't actually going to offer snacks, we would have brought our own so our 15-year old son wasn't so hungry as we did the tour during dinner time.

It looks like you had a great experience with our Can AM equipment, glad you were able to enjoy them first hand. So sorry you missed the sunset, we try to adjust tour departure times to coincide with a beautiful sunset, we are sorry we missed the mark. We appreciate your suggestions and will make more of an effort to offer our snacks throughout the tour. Thank you for taking time to let us know about your experience.
