What To Expect

New York Aquarium

From sea lion shows to penguin feeds, sand tiger sharks and common cuttlefish, there are a lot of marine animals for you to meet at the Aquarium.

The movie, crawl through tunnel, discovery area and seal show. It is well laid out and enjoyable. Great fun and educational !

We visited Coney Island but as the Luna Park was closed we decided to go to the aquarium. To start with the good points - the shark/sting ray was good but nothing impressive, the sea lion show was quite good and funny and the 4d experience at the was a nice touch. The place is not big at all, not a great number of species and mostly designed around 2-4 year olds. The area where you could touch crabs was closing ar 2.30. The place was open till 4 pm. We had to choose to be late for the sea lion show or do that. For $108 there are way better things to do in NY
