One block south of Houston on Mulberry Street is a real treasure: a Catholic Basilica as old as the City of New York. Our tour guide Leo laid out the story in 90 minutes of entertaining detail....was he kidding when he said that he's Jewish? LoL. The tour is a little pricey, but I would recommend it to anyone interested in NYC history, architecture, etc.

Leo was our tour guide and he was incredible. He gave us so much historical context for everything and you could tell he is truly passionate about the history. We learned some very interesting things on this tour and it was incredible to walk through the catacombs. I would definitely recommend doing this tour either way, but especially if you can somehow request Leo!

Dan was our guide and he was fantastic! Informative, friendly and humorous tour. I would defiantly come back and do another tour with this group. I am a local and have taken many of these types of tours in other cities and it was fun to learn something new the area that my family is from.
