Bruce is a dedicated tour guide who is not only a history buff but possesses a vast knowledge base about the Revolutionary War and NYC. He patiently and expertly answered the many questions from the group and kept us fascinated throughout the tour. He is very detailed but always interesting. I consider myself somewhat of a history buff but I learned a tremendous amount of information about Washington. Hamilton, and early NYC. I highly recommend this tour and plan to take the Central Park tour next.

This tour makes the city come alive with its historical significance during the Revolutionary War and the first Presidency, keeping Washington and Hamilton at the center of the events. It is a story of momentous political events, almost providential military retreats, emotional farewells to arms, and petty quarrels that will cost Hamilton his life. Bruce enriches the tour by showing images of the period and reciting passages from letters, addresses, and Hamilton's lyrics. In addition to its entertaining value, this tour highlights the democratic values in the Constitution, which everyone receives at the end of the tour, and the lives who embodied it with their courage and integrity.
