What attire do I wear to ride a Jet Ski? Make your experience as comfortable as possible by wearing beach attire (something you would swim in). Don't forget to bring your sunglasses, a towel, sun lotion and clothing to change into after the water activities
What is the Minimum age? 18 years to operate jet ski, under 18 years of age may ride on the jet ski as a passenger with a parent or guardian present and a completed parental consent form
Each Jet Ski rental requires a $250 security deposit along with a $15 damage insurance policy, or a $500 security deposit without the damage insurance. The security deposit can be held as a credit card authorization or in cash. The security deposit is returned upon safe and undamaged return of the Jet Ski.

We follow all New York City health department and Federal CDC guidelines for keeping our customers and staff safe and we enforce these procedures for all people at all times. We ride in salt water, a natural disinfectant, and the sun’s UV does a good job at killing airborne virus.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Terrible customer service. Booked the jet skis and emailed them over concerns of weather forecast (it said 70% chances of rain) and they never wrote back to me. It is a long way to go all the way to Rockaway beach without knowing whether you will be able to ride the jet skis or not and still they did not answer to any of my concerns. Giving the weather forecast I did not go and requested a refund which they for once answered the e mail very fast stating all the reasons why they will not refund me. I wish they wouldv'e act as professional with my previous e mails. Don't waste your time going all the way to Rockaway for a bad experience, book the ones in New Jersey just 20 minutes away from Manhattan. They have great jet skis, amazing staff and amazing customer service plus you ride in the Hudson River and not in the ocean

We work hard to make every customer experience exceptional. This customer booked a rental on Friday for the next day, Saturday during a holiday weekend and never showed up. A week later, on a busy good weathered day, she wrote an email saying she made a mistake and wanted to reschedule her appointment to the next day. That evening, when I got back from the docks, I rescheduled the appointment without penalty exactly as she requested. I was notified the confirmation was received and opened. The next day, just hours before the reservation, she wrote another email with concern about the potential of rain, was a beautiful day. She again did not show up. Two days later she wrote an email saying she did not come to Jet Ski because I rescheduled her too late. We held off other customer bookings on two different days and turned away customers both days and would have certainly cancelled the booking had she given us advance notice. After all this, I wrote to the customer and told her we would honor one more rescheduling without fee. What would happen if you missed your air plane, a Broadway show, or a concert? Do you expect a refund for that? Most every day in the summer the forecast expresses a chance of thunderstorms, they are usually wrong and even if they do occur, they only last a few minutes and then sunny again. We run a reputable business and are in business to add happiness and fun into people’s lives. For the record, we are located on beautiful Jamaica Bay, NYC’s largest park and wildlife reserve. We offer rentals in the bay and tours all over NYC’s waterways including NYC Harbor, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, World Financial Center, Coney Island and yes, even into the Atlantic Ocean.

It was my first time doing Jetski in New York and Robert and his team at Rockaway Jetski rental were great. They treated my friends and I with Kindness and showed us a great experience riding Jet skis. The owner spoke with us after ridding for an hr and recommended doing the city tour. I will be going back in the near future to do the city tour. The way he described it sounded like it would be a great experience.
