We were a family of three, my wife, my daughter and myself. First visit to New York. We were so pleased not to be queueing in Times Square to be seeing in the New Year. It was very cold and to get any sort of view you would have to be there by lunchtime. After a slowish start with the bar service being a little disorganised and the staff not really switched on it turned into a great night. As much drink as you want, great music and fantastic fireworks. There could have been more food and by allowing people to place their own chairs it became a little difficult for the waiters to actually reach certain groups of people with the trays of food, by the time they arrived it had virtually disappeared. All in all a good time was had.

Happy happy happy happy happy happy. Got to see lots of big big big stuff and the statue of liberty from the boat. Very generous measures of alcohol. Fun!

Had an amazing night, the drinks were free flowing, the staff were fabulos and the fireworks over lady liberty were the perfect way to bring in the new year.
