Hats off to Rory, she is why this tour was as fun as it was. Without her vibrant personality this could have just veen a walk between drinking establishments. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to have fun in NYC.

My boyfriend and I booked the Speakeasy History and Drinking Tour after reading many reviews for similar tours. We chose Telltale tours because we wanted a smaller tour group and a more authentic experience. This tour definitely delivered. When the power went out in all of Midtown 30 min before the tour started, we were concerned that there may not even be a tour. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our small group of 6 was actually led by 2 guides (Rory and Jacob who were both excellent). They worked together to improvise and make arrangements with several bars to ensure we got the full tour experience even though some of the regular stops weren't able to accommodate us due to the blackout. We had the greatest time bar hopping and learning about prohibition and the history of speakeasy bars along the way. When the tour was over, Rory invited is all to extend the night and head to yet another hidden away cocktail bar with really interesting history. We were all happy to extend the night and had a great time visiting places we never would have stumbled upon on our own. Thank you, Rory and Jacob for a memorable night and an awesome New York experience!

This tour was the best tour my friend and I have ever done. Rory was a fantastic tour guide. She taught us a lot of interesting history, while showing us a great time. It felt like hanging out with an old friend who knows how to tell really great stories. Loved it and would go on it again in a heartbeat.
