Rory was an excellent guide. We found out how to spot a speak easy and enjoyed a couple of cocktails along the way. I didn’t know much about the history but as the tour progresses we learnt so much. Discovered some amazing places we wouldn’t have found on our own. This is a great activity and we really enjoyed it. We were a small group and this made it easy to meet new people and share the experience.

Rory was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgable of NYC prohibition-era history. The speakeasies that we visited were unique and unexpected, and the drinks were delicious! Even though the group was large Rory did a great job of keeping everyone engaged while still making sure people had a good time. Definitely recommend to both tourists and locals alike.

We did the Prohibition Speakeasy Drinking Tour in Midtown and Rory was amazing! So full of enthusiasm and energy!! She has so much knowledge and is so passionate about sharing it with others. She brings history back to life by relating the significance of it to the present. Plus the bars were really cool!! It didn’t feel like a formal tour, just felt like we were hanging out with some friends. I'm hoping she conducts many other types of tours because NYC is filled with interesting history and Rory should be the official spokesperson for that history =)
