Ludie our guide was inspirational and had amazing energy and passion for the topic. She told stories, not just facts. I highly recommend this tour because of how much I learned about Americaā€™s slavery history and specifically what happened in ny.

This tour blew me away, I'm so glad that we chose to do it this week! From the presentation of the history by Ludie our guide, to the facts presented in the tour itself! The history was so scandalous and eye opening and it prompted me to find out more about slavery and to start reading slave narratives! The tour guide was so passionate and full of life, she really made us feel all the compassion and disbelief and shock that goes along with hearing such harrowing recounts. I've learnt so much that I didn't know, and it has sparked a new interest for me (which can be hard to do). The tour was really worth it. I would recommend it to every single person visiting New York; it was amazing! It was around 3hrs long and we got it was included in our New York Pass!
