My group arrived early and waited in the line with the rest of the others that were supposed to take the tour. The departure time cane and went and we still were not allowed to board. About 20 min. after scheduled departure time the boat left the dock.... with no passengers on it!. A woman who worked for the company was telling small groups of people something and they were leaving. When we finally heard what was going on, they had cancelled the tour due to "restroom problems". We were told we could wait for the next tour and they might have it fixed by then or go into the standby line for the water taxi. I realize that unexpected things happen, my issue is the poor communication and the lack of a good backup plan.

Was a very nice tour. It gives you a good view of Lower Manhattan, New Jersey, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, and the new World Trade Centre building. Well worth it

The Zephyr was a really nice yacht and glided through the bay for a smooth trip. Good sights of the Statue of Liberty. Maximum capacity ~ 600 people, there were about 500 on our trip. I strongly recommend sitting on the outside perimeter, or else you will have a blocked view from the interior and it will be difficult to take pictures. The top deck is the best place to sit.
