The sailing was just what the add said. We enjoyed it. It would be better if they could sail up to Brooklyn Bridge or somewhere. We sailed in circles in same area by the Statue of Liberty. It was quite crowded, but improved when they removed food from areas on two sides of ship and we could sit down on side. Do not be confused. Food is not offered. This was catered food for a private group. The rest of the people could not have any, but only watch. It would be better if there was an option for people not in private party to purchase food.

This was the last event for my trip to NYC and it was a really nice send-off. My only complaints are the seating on the ship was pretty scarce and we kept having to move from the front of the ship so they could adjust the sails. But I spent most of the time leaning on the side and watching the city as the sun set. I got lots of great pics & had some good conversation with the crew members. It was a pretty memorable trip and worth the money, you get some amazing views.

To celebrate my turning 70, my son and I paddled a 100 mile stretch of the Hudson from Albany to Bear Mountain State Park. Then we went with my husband, who helped us with this project as our "friend of the Hudson" and took this sail together. It was the perfect ending to our adventure with the 3 of us together on the water. I was thrilled to get to help hoist the sail, something I've always wanted to do. Very professional crew, great memory of a lifetime.
