This is an interesting activity my wife had found out about. Since we both love photography, this was a great way take photos of the New York City Skyline. We chose the evening version since the sun was going down and gave us an interesting opportunity to take photos. The boat is not very crowded and it circles around the downtown Manhattan landscape several times. The water was very calm and it was a perfect day to sail. They use a vintage ship from 1929 and the staff does interact a bit in the beginning. They do allow you to bring your own food so you don't overpay to eat a snack and you don't starve. If you are looking for an interesting activity to do..to take photos without obstructions with water in the background, then this is an interesting activity. The boat does not make any stops..until you get off.

We made a reservation for the sunset sail this Friday night, the weather is supposed to be perfect and we were really excited about it.The website was happy to take our reservation Monday and now somebody calls me today to say that they’ve booked a private sail and they need to cancel. Would I like to go on an evening cruise with the DJ? No, thanks, I want my money back if your avarice precludes you from honoring my reservation.

It will be very hard to describe the beauty of this experience and the memorable moments we will cherish for the rest of our lives! Captain Patrick and his crew welcomed us on the Clipper City - a beautiful replica of an 19th century tall ship. The weather was just per-fect with clear skies, winds and sunset on the Statue of Liberty. The views on Manhattan are simply breathtaking. Wouldn’t do it any other way. Wish it could last for an entire day! Thank you!!!!
