Overview

See New York City’s amazing skyline lit up in a perspective normally reserved for private charters! This unique experience starts at Linden Municipal Airport, in Linden, NJ in one of Helicopter Flight Services’ 6-passenger Bell407 helicopters or 7-passenger high-visibility Airbus EC130T2 helicopters.

The journey begins by flying past Newark International Airport or Staten Island towards Manhattan. En route to the New York Harbor, views of the illuminated Statue of Liberty will awe before viewing the skyscrapers of the Financial District. Flying north along the Hudson River, guests will catch a glimpse of the Empire State Building, as well as Madison Square Garden, Hudson Yards, Chelsea, The West Village, SOHO and TRIBECA. 9/11 Memorial and One World are also in view.

Guests will fly the length of Central Park, glimpsing Yankee Stadium before turning around at the top of Manhattan! They will fly above the George Washington Bridge, one of the busiest bridges in the world.

We enjoyed very much our flight from Linden to NYC and back. First we thought it was a disadvantage to fly from outside NYC, because it takes quite some time and effort to get there. But then on the flight we realized how great it was to fly over Newark int. airport and Jerse City in addition to the "normal" flight over NYC. We can highly recommend this.

Excellent! So much fun. The entire staff from the greeting staff to the pilots were fun, very nice, and professional. Flight time was superb. The pilot guided the tour and pointed out the main attractions you want to see in Manhattan. Would definitely recommend and will likely do again on our next trip.

We chose this trip as we wanted to see the lights of NY by night and get a perspective of the City from the air. Communication with the company worked well and they responded to my queries and helped me make the decision of the best date to book so I could include an alternative date if flight postponed. We did the trip at the start of a week in NY and it provided a great overview of the City which we wanted to experience from the land air and water during our stay. It was a bit of a trip to Linden Airport (we used the trains from Jersey City where we were staying but with planning it was actually fairly easy involving a couple of trains on time and the fares seemed very reasonable to us). The company pick up and drop off at the Linden station on request. Views from the Helicopter and info from Pilot excellent. I was sat in the middle but still had no trouble seeing the sites. I will admit to being a bit nervous but once up in the air I was fascinated by the sights and the flight was smooth. When the pilot needed to turn sharply he gave plenty of notice so it wasn't a surprise. We were lucky visibility was good giving us clear views of the night sky of Manhattan. Four of us did the trip it felt a special experience and we all loved it. Thanks HeliNY
