First let me give a disclaimer, I have been involved in Hip Hop culture off and on for over 35 years and Grandmaster Caz is a longtime friend of mine. Iā€™ve wanted to take this tour for years and finally took the day off to do it. I ALWAYS learn new information about Hip Hop when I have the chance to listen to the stories of the pioneers of the culture because in so many cases I donā€™t know what brought them to what became known as Hip Hop in the first place. I really, really enjoyed this tour. From initially meeting Rayza, who is an amazing, just feel good personality to the party, comedic atmosphere on the bus and at our stops. I was impressed that it covers not just Hip Hop artists, but also some NYC history and landmarks. You get these ah HA! moments when Caz points out the connections between places youā€™re seeing and where it fits in your memory. Caz is a natural at being host, tour guide, comedian and his energy spreads. After over 35 years I still enjoy watching him in his element, which is the stage. When Rayza takes command on the way to our drop off point he doesnā€™t disappoint. First off he is a talented MC for sure and not just his rhyming abilities but also his hype ability and keeping the energy up. The driver drove safely and that is also to be commended. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting NYC who wants to really see more of NYC or even if you were born and raised here to see a different perspective of Hip Hop and NYC from what youā€™ve read or think you know.

Great tour, wonderful energetic guides (Razor & Reggie Reg). Had lots of fun, visited Harlem and The Bronx to take a look at the Graffiti Wall of Fame, Apollo theatre, mini-breakdancing lesson and Sedgwick Avenue together with some interesting stories and anecdotes. Well worth the time and money even for non hip hop fans
