New York walking tasting tour with Secret Food Tours (Private Tour)

Overview
We eat our way through the charming, iconic and extremely delicious neighborhood of Greenwich Village. As we walk and eat you will see vestiges of the original Dutch settlement and early British influences still visible today. Your three-hour tour will unlock secret food havens nestled throughout this beautiful enclave and you will discover the hidden history found around every corner. As we take a stroll back through time, we will uncover the origins of some of New York's quintessential foods and how they have evolved into the delicious morsels we will indulge in today.

In addition, as with all of our tours, there is our Secret Dish, which will be revealed on the day of your tour.

As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

Such a fun day! Our took guide Allie was super knowledgeable about the food and Greenwich Village. We went with family and my 8 year old son. The tour was about 3 hours and there was plenty of sitting in relation to walking...and there was plenty of delicious food! I went to NYU so it brought back a lot of memories and we created new ones! A great tour to check out!

This was such a fun tour. We ate absolutely delicious foods from some of the best spots in Greenwhich Village. Our tour guide Allie was fantastic and so knowledgeable about the area and she knew all the back stories about each restaurants we visited. I can't imagine a better way to spend time in the village than to eat your way through it,

Allie was a great tour guide and hostess. The food was good but the history of the neighborhood was fascinating.
