Morgan was a very upbeat and informative tour guide. The food was good. I just don’t think the extra money for the alcohol was worth it.

Thank you for taking our tour this first weekend of the season! Our 3 alcohol pairings were added as a courtesy to our guests that were requesting it, it is simply not a profit center for us. If they were ordered outside the tour the cost with tax and gratuity would have exceeded the additional ticket cost. The tour is meant to be mainly a food tasting tour and the drinks are chosen to be paired with it as an additional option for those that would like it. Also, because of the tight time constraints within the tour itself we cannot place orders for individual drinks, which also would have cost significantly more, nor is there time to sit and leisurely drink them so there is much to be considered. We appreciate your feedback and hope this has given you a little better understanding of our choices, as you know we squeeze a lot of into our tour 3 hours together and there is a lot to consider. Thank you again for taking our tour!

My group and I were on the first tour of the season. Morgan was very knowledgeable about all the restaurants and their cuisine. Spent a long weekend in Newport RI and decided to do the Rhode Island Red Food Tour because we enjoyed food tours in other cities and found them to be a great way to learn about the area and taste the local fare. Food tours really depend on the knowledge and personality of the guide and our guide Sara was great. We learned a great deal about the history of Newport enjoyed delicious samplings of food from several restaurants and shops. I can't recommend this food tour enough. Don't forget to ask Sara about where to find the "lady fun". Enjoy!
