I gave this tour to my friends as a Christmas gift. We had THE BEST TIME! Leah was a fantastic tour guide who knows Newport! I was amazed at the history of places I have passed so many times while in Newport. By the end of the tour even fellow tour mates were wishing "Merry Christmas"! I would do it again. On a recent trip to Newport, I decided to go on a food tour. We had a group of about 10 and our guide. She did an excellent job giving us some history and guiding us around town. We had six stops, all a small snack with beverage option. It allows you to get a feel for the area and find some local spots you may want to go back and visit. I would recommend this as a way to spend part of your day.

we decided on a food tour (Sat 7/21/18) to see and taste some of the local cuisine in Newport. We chose Rhode Island Red based on the reviews and they were spot on. We really enjoyed the tour and Leah Rosin-Pritchard was perfect as the guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, good humored and stuck to her schedule. She threw in stories along the walk - most, as you would expect, of an historical significance. We had plenty of variety and enough to satisfy us for lunch. Leah actually recommended the Chef's choice dinner at her last stop so my wife and I returned later that evening and enjoyed one of the best meals we had in a while - but that is for a different review!
