This is an extremely informative tour of Newport. For 1 1/2 hours we listened to Anna, an excellent guide, with loads of information. We both have hearing issues but she spoke clearly and slowly. We were able to hear every word through the bus speakers. We have been driving in our own car through Newport. This tour gave the driver an opportunity to observe the sights and taught us the history of the homes, buildings and mansions we were passing by. This tour should be the first item on everyones tour list.

If you're unfamiliar with Newport this is a great way to see the sights and learn more about the history. Our guide, Jim, was wonderful. He made the trip enjoyable with his knowledge of the city and the people who have been part of it. The only con was the microphone in the trolley - it tends to garble the words, so we had trouble understanding Jim much of the time.

We booked the Viking Trolley Tour while on a short trip to Newport. What a great way to see all of the sights and the fabulous mansions. Our tour guide was very through in explaining the surroundings and helpful for restaurant information and other things to do. If you don't have a lot of time, I suggest you do this. I would do this tour regardless of how long my stay was. Great prices too!
