We really enjoyed our tour. The tour guide was really informative and had a great sense of humor. We were in awe over the huge mansions and the famous residents that resided in them. ( many famous people still live in some) The tour guide explained the history of Newport and the behind the scene stories. The scenic ocean drive and views were unbelievable. The mansions built around and on the ocean are a MUST SEE. I was intrigued by the homeowners and the money required to live and maintain their lifestyle. We enjoyed seeing Hammersmith Farm where Jacqueline Kennedy lived as a young lady. I enjoyed seeing the church where she married John F. Kennedy. We drove slowly by the Newport Country Club. President Eisenhower and President Kennedy played golf at the club. The price of the tour was worth every penny. The tour was fun, educational, and filled with interesting facts.

This was a fabulous tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area. He had grown up there. As we went by places he would would explain about them. If just do the tour it takes an hour and a half. Only bad thing was sat around a couple and there kids and they talked the whole time.

Went on the Newport Viking Tour in Feb, 2018. Our driver and guide, (Ray may have been his name), was absolutely excellent. He was a retired history teacher and grew up in Newport. There was so much we learned while on this trip. Lots of anecdotal stories and explanations made this a very interesting experience. We had done the same drive ourselves the previous day, and were amazed how many things we went by that had very significant meaning or history. Would highly recommend!
