I highly, highly recommend this tour!! I had no idea what to expect but this was no boring, ho-hum, old house tour. The tour includes the most breathtaking scenery along the coast. Also the self-guided tours (with headsets)of Marble House and the Breakers are fantastic. I want to go back and do it all again. Our tour guide (I think Jim) was so sweet and easy going, and told us lots of interesting history of the area.

Joe was our driver and he was very knowledgeable and funny! He gave us extra information and little nuggets of wisdom for navigating around town. He was a hoot to listen to and the tour itself was amazing. We saw several mansions and toured the inside of the Marble House and the Breakers. Joe was there when he said he would be there and the entire tour went smooth as a whistle. Thanks Joe for all the great memories!

Our driver, Joe, was a beautiful soul! He was a wealth of information; kept the tour lively and fun. We felt so at ease on our travels. We took this trip in October, on a gorgeous, sunny day. A friend of mine and myself were seeking a getaway from daily life as Mom & Wife, and we found ourselves enthralled with the comfort, warmth and nostalgia of Viking Trolley & its scenic and mansion tour. The time passed ever too quickly and we left Newport richer in our hearts than when we came. Thank you Viking Trolley Tour for your fantastic, reliable service. (Website should note that parking is not free at the Visitor Center.) One of the representatives at the Visitor Center was abrupt. But our experience with Viking was Top Drawer!
