First - it was an excellent experience and provided an excellent background of Newport, i.e., places to see and places to eat. There is lots of history to learn while on the tour and Jim our trolley driver and narrator was excellent. We thought the trip was too quick, i.e., we know the trolley is on a schedule but to get a good look at Newport maybe extend the tour to give the driver/narrator time to go slower. We think he should have gone slower to allow riders to "see" more. While on a schedule I am sure, the customers have paid for their ride and should have the opportunity to see things better. Jim our driver/narrator was very knowledgeable about Newport and provided us with a ton of information...but he was "quick" with his description and sometimes it was difficult to follow. Sometimes we couldn't keep up with his narration. There were a number of times when he was talking about an place when we felt we were looking behind us. I would suggest that he coordinate or announce his location more clearly and then provide his description and slow his speech to allow riders to see what he is talking about. After all some of his are older and need time to process. (Smile) Mansion tours were great; very interesting and much history. Definitely use an audio book as it allows you to learn much about the mansion that you are visiting. Overall the Trolley Tour was a great learning and historical experience!

I donā€™t know our guideā€™s name, but she was excellent! The tour was well organized and we learned so much. I highly recommend it.

What I could hear of this tour was good, but the sound system, or microphone usage or something caused me and the 3 others in our group to miss about half of what was said. Our guide was good, knowledgeable, funny and friendly....based on what we could hear. Also, a major problem was that I felt very rushed at The Breakers. We were dropped off and picked up by the trolley, but timing was tight. There was not enough time to listen to the expanded tour with anecdotes, but only the basic tour. This was a convenient but unsatisfying experience.
