If you park at the Visitors Center, and get your parking ticket stamped, they knock $2.00 off the price of parking. There are three daily tours, we took the one at 10:00 am on a sunday. The bus was air conditioned and not crowded (I think because of the early hour). Dominic was excellent and took us on our 90 min tour of the historical buildings and points of interest around Newport. We went past all the Mansions there, and there were several. He had interesting facts and stories and the 90 min went very fast. Great way to see and learn about Newport. If he drops you off at the mansions, he gives you a pick up time when he will be back.

The Viking Trolley Tour helped us get a feel for Newport and allowed us explore a few of the top attractions of the area. The two mansion tours were great, giving us enough time, but not too much time, to roam around the mansions and estate grounds. Having the audio devices for the mansion tours was a bonus, which really added to the experience. It was worth the time and money!

Great tour. Our driver was knowledgeable and personable. The speakers were slightly garbled, but the trolley was clean and on time. The Breakers and Marble house were incredible. We all got the audio tours and our 15 year old boys loved the information in the audio tours. Would definitely recommend this tour. It’s a great way to see the sites!
