Enjoy delightful food from five restaurants while strolling the historic streets of Newport, Rhode Island! Our tour begins in front of the Wave sculpture on the corner of America's Cup Ave. and Memorial Blvd.. We will talk about Newport's infamous pirates, Revolutionary War armies, the Gilded Age of mansions and industrialists, the Irish American heritage up to and including the condominium boom. Our tour will last 2.5 hours and will cover approximately 1.75 miles. Bring your appetites, you will not be disappointed!

Our meeting place which is located in front of the Wave Sculpture, at the corner of America's Cup Blvd and Memorial Blvd.in the heart of Newport. Following your check in, we give a brief history of the 41 North and the Armory, then continue on to our "Off the Beaten Path" tour. If you have been to Newport many times or if this is your first time, you will experience many new facts and wonderful restaurants along the way.

Tom was amazing. Really happy I went. Food was great, especially the Italian restaurant. But Tom’s knowledge of the history of Newport was the highlight of the tour.

Tom our tour guide was excellent in giving us the historical information of Newport. Did not expect so much history learning on the food tour. Started with a hamburger that was delicious, then headed for a mahi taco and salad, then headed to Vieste a fine dining Italian restaurant for caprese salad on a stick with a glass of a Prosecco Rose which. Was unbelievable and then ended with a hot fudge sundae. We even got drink coupons for O’Briens for a free drink. Was very impressed with the tour and would recommend to anyone that wants to get some steps in (11,824) and have some great food with a nice history lesson. Thanks Tom
