The tour guides are truly kind and awesome people. The history and details that they shared were insightful and interesting. The timing of the tour is great too as it aligns with lunch and you definitely eat your “fair share” of food. There were three stops where you are served a meal sized portion (sliders, southern style plate fried chicken and pizza). Our fourth stop was a desert/pastry shop and fifth was a bar with a drink! 1.5-2.0 miles of walking. Great choice of food and pastries and a ton of historical info...five bubbles for Newport Walking Food Tour.

First off, the tour guides are so sweet, knowledgeable of Newport's history, and a pleasure to be around. Our four food stops were Harry's Burgers, Winner Winner, Karma Pizza, Fatulli's Bakery, and we ended with a drink at O'Brien's pub. I love that we stopped at restaurants that are off the beaten path, places you may walk by without taking a second look. All the food was really great! So glad this tour showed me another side of Newport that wasn't super touristy! The only small thing I'd suggest be changed is the drink offering at O'Brien's. We all thought we'd be tasting a beer, but instead we served a cranberry mule.

My wife and I totally enjoyed the Newport Foodie Stroll. Tom and Sue provided a great tour of Newport that included history and some delicious food. This was a 2.5 hour tour, about 1.7 miles of casual walking and chatting, and eating. I loved the historical part of the tour. We learned a lot in short period of time. We had five stops for food. The first two stops had some of the best food I have ever eaten. Delicious!!! These restaurants are off the beaten path, but Tom and Sue knew where to go. Tom and Sue were wonderful tour guides, that were always ready to answer any questions that we had. I highly recommend this food tour. I have been on food tours all over the US, Latin America and Europe and this was one of the best. Enjoy!!!!
