All the thrills of a jet boat ride without getting wet! The dome jet boat speeds down the Niagara River and past 12 miles (19 km) of exhilarating scenery to the churning white waters of the famous Niagara Whirlpool. The covered boat keeps you dry as waves crash and splash around the domed jet boat!

Arrive promptly 45 minutes prior to departure time to register, sign participation agreement and hear pre-trip safety orientation. If you miss the safety orientation, we will move you to the next available trip time without notice (which could be the next day) so it is important to arrive on time.
The participation agreement thoroughly explains all pertinent aspects of jet-boating including personal health requirements. Refusal to sign the agreement will not merit a credit or refund.
Wheelchair accessibility - guests are able to use wheel chair onto the dock up to the boat, but cannot bring the chair on the boat. If assistance is required, passenger must provide their own carer. Guests must be able to sit on a bench seat and support themselves by holding on to a bar in-front of each seat without assistance.
Participants must meet the minimum height requirement of 40" tall (1 meter) - your average 4 year old.
Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Late or no-show participants will not receive a refund. You have 24 hours prior to your trip to cancel for a full refund. Trips can be rescheduled until day of the departure at no added charge (subject to availability).
Guests must arrive on site via their own form of transportation - Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours is not responsible for getting you to the dock.

I didn't want to get wet so the other tour was out of the question. Our tour guide was not interested in what she was doing that day and the boat tour was just not that fun. We went around 3 miles up the Niagara River did one spin in the whirlpool area and headed back. We were asked to be at the place at 12:15 to do all the pre-boarding items and the other group on the tour didn't come until 1 pm which then delayed our tour. We were a group of 4 and all of us were disappointed with the boat tour. Maybe our expectations were too high or maybe the tour just wasn't very good. We wouldn't go again and the tour was really expensive for what it was.

The Dome is a calmer tour than the Wet Jet trip to accommodate a wider variety of guests and those that do not want to get wet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I chose the dome tour because I thought the water would be too cold to get drenched in. I do not regret my decision. There were times the front of the boat were covered by the Rapids. The staff is very good about making sure everyone is ok with the trip. You address given safety briefings and reminders multiple times. You get to experience a few sets of rapids multiple times. The boats have 3 diesel motors that produce 1500 horsepower. The trip is narrated and several points of interest are noted. The trip is a fun, safe time.
