What if we don’t see any mantas? It is an extremely rare occurrence, but if we do not see ANY manta rays on our Night Manta Experience, you are welcome to come back out with us again during the same vacation, based on availability, totally free of charge. Make sure you call us right away so that we may reschedule you!

We are fortunate to see mantas almost every night, but on the rare occasion where none are sighted on your tour, Sea Quest invites you to come back out on another night at no additional cost to you, or on a confirmed afternoon snorkeling adventure at no additional charge. No refunds available.

Guides on the boat and in water were excellent & made the night really worth it. Not so much back at the office - sign in person was too busy on phone talking about weekend to answer a question - usually in tourism courtesy is a given . Also, FYI, if you take 7:45 PM trip be aware this operation has no bathrooms for customers and the other structure public bathrooms we were directed to are closed at your return time.

This business is well organized and everyone there is fun and friendly. They had plenty of wetsuits so everyone got one that fit and was comfortable. We saw several mantas right away, which far exceeded my expectations. Those amazing creatures swam within inches of us. It was crazy! Each light board had several employees who helped those who were either struggling with their mask, or being in the ocean, so everyone had an excellent experience. The employees are knowledgeable about Manta Rays and shared really interesting information on the short trip out to the snorkeling location and back. At the end of our adventure we had hot chocolate and cookies. Just a perfect evening for a once in a lifetime experience.

This was an awesome experience! I would HIGHLY recommend doing this if you’re in Kona. Boat ride was less than 10 mins to the designated spot. We got to see eight manta rays which is very unusual, generally there’s only one or two per night. But it was super cool! This organization provides scuba gear and wetsuits which is great. All you have to do is get into the water and essentially hold onto a board and the designated swimmers maneuver the board so all you have to do is look down and enjoy!
