You should book this. It is the only place in the world you can āswimā with manta rays at night. The crew is great, organized, and safe. You can rent a Go Pro for extra $. You get a wet jacket and snorkeling gear (and defogger!). Bring towels. It can get cold so maybe long sleeves. They have pool noodles āif you wantā but just take it. You can relax in the water if you do. Even if youāre a good swimmer you will get tired of trying to keep your body even with the water surface. And if you donāt the mantas wonāt come to feed and everyone will be mad at you. So take the noodle for yourself and tell everyone in your group to take one. It is an easy swim to and from. You can see the ocean bottom mostly while youāre in. You are in the water for about 30 min but you can get out early if you want.
We saw mantas, fish, urchins, and eels.
The ride is lovely and if the moon isnāt full and the clouds cooperate you get great star gazing on the way back.
If you book for sunset you will not be disappointed.
