MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)
Must be in good health and fit condition, must be able to climb a short ladder

The most amazing experience on the Big Island. Simon and his crew were fantastic. Simon is a very entertaining captain who keeps things fun and safe. The manta experience was the best my family loved it. They literally swim right up next to you. I would highly recommend a Go Pro or Akaso action camera to video it to have great memories.

We had an amazing time! They provided us with wetsuit style tops and snorkel gear. The gear they provided was nice and was kept in good condition. The captain was cool and the “kids” working the boat were awesome and super friendly. We saw about 10-12 rays which was an amazing show. They emphasized that we were lucky to have seen so many, they were HUGE and fed off plankton right in front/underneath you. They literally swam right in front of your face sometimes almost grazing you. It was surreal. The guides were informative and had some corny ray jokes (which I truly enjoyed lol). They made you feel safe while in the water and provided noodles for your feet to keep your whole body floating on top of the water. You hold on to the pvc pipe bar that surrounds the lights and just watch. If you got a camera, take it. Just be ready to hold on with one arm. Nice little workout, current wasn’t too strong. I felt like we were out there for about 40-45 minutes. You are free to go back to the boat if you get tired. Snacks, water and a hot shower once you get back on board. I’ll def do this again when I come back to visit!
