MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)
Must be in good health and fit condition, must be able to climb a short ladder
Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Unique experience- started with Simon who is the tour operator who has a great sense of humor, he is relaxed and calm and explained that it was a safe activity , even young children can do it. After checking in , we headed to the boat and we got our snorkel equipment — you can bring your own too. Once everybody was in the boat , he explained what we had to do which was simple- go down the boat and swim to the surfboard with lights. You can wear a life vest if you want so you don’t really have to be a good swimmer to do this activity . Also, they put a noodle on your feet to help you float horizontally and you can see a lot of manta rays in all sizes, very unique experience!!! I am so glad I did it. When you are done and go up the boat , Simon opens a valve that gives you a quick warm shower —- feels so good! He is such a great captain!! Snacks and drinks are provided! Make sure you bring a towel or a dry set of clothes because it is cold on the boat ride back. I wore gym shorts and a long sleeve rash guard when I did this . It was a cold night.Definitely incredible experience especially with Simon - Hang Loose tours! Love from 305 Simon!

If you are on the big island this trip is a MUST. Only place in the world where this is possible, unlike any experience I’ve had before. Adam and Jacob were fantastic captains/hosts, 10/10 recommend!

I loved the experience , I don’t know how to swim and. I felt safe with the 2 guys that helped me out , honestly 10 out of 10 super nice people , plus they were playing really nice music I loved their vibe. I totally forgot their names of how nervous I was but the experience in its own is a must if you’re in Kona.
