MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SWIMMING AND SNORKELING EXPERIENCE OR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN THE WATER!!!
MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)
Must be in good health and fit condition, must be able to climb a short ladder
Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Easily one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Was a 20-25 minute boat ride to the spot with the mantas, 15 mins on the boat while they got us set up, and then at least 45 mins in the water with them. We saw not only many mantas but also beautiful schools of fish. They give a pool noodle for your feet so you don't get tired staying horizontal on top of the water. Crew was knowledgeable and ran a fun excursion, we felt very safe hopping in the water at night. Such a fun experience, and unique to Big Island. One of the coolest things we've ever done, highly recommend!

First off, the crew was great, the music was on point, the tour was well guided amd they provided drinks and snacks!!! The best part is being able to see the Manta rays up close amd personal!!! It was an amazing experience swimming with these beast of the sea, the most gentle and beautiful sea creatures I've ever encountered! Hang Loose boat tour took me in quick when I shared that another tour cancelled on me. They truly were flexible and added me when they already booked. So I am very appreciative of that! Thank you Hang Loose!!

This is a must-do. One of the coolest experiences of my life. I really appreciated how focused and diligent the crew was and I felt incredibly safe at all times. Also 11/10 for manta ray puns.
