MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SWIMMING AND SNORKELING EXPERIENCE OR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN THE WATER!!!
MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)
Must be in good health and fit condition, must be able to climb a short ladder
Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

It was an incredible experience of having the manta rays swimming in front of you one after another. Beautiful and harmless creatures. Second, Bryce and his staff were always checking in with everyone for their safety on the boat and in the water. He wanted everyone to have a memorable time.

This was the coolest trip. We took our 3 and 5 year old who are both good swimmers and snorkelers. My daughter did her pretty scared once we got in because the mantas were literally everywhere. The were coming up and bumping into us. Coming right up to our faces over and over again. It was an experience we well never forget! Also the guys on the boat were so awesome. Danny and Vince I think? They made sure we were comfortable the whole time. I can’t recommend enough.

This is absolutely must do on the Big Island, just how every review says. However, specifically Hang Loose Boat tours made the experience awesome. The big boat made us feel safe jetting out to the snorkel location at night, small chip bags, waters, and sprite were provided, and the crew was exceptional. Captain Bryce was the best! Made everyone laugh, made periodic announcements about how long it would be while we were headed out and headed in, and asked everyone throughout the snorkel experience if we needed anything or had questions. The manta rays seriously get close enough to brush up against you and are beautiful gentle giants to watch.
