I have trusted TripAdvisor for trip information and tours for many years. This is a Big Fat Scam! Found out later that these tickets are absolutely free. These tickets are labeled no weight Washington monument direct entry tickets and guidebook. We got in line like everyone else there is no other line! No guidebook either. What’s included? Tickets to the Washington Monument “INSIDE TOUR”. The tour was provided by the Park service same as everyone else. We bought two senior tickets and wasted $50! I am very disappointed in TripAdvisor!

Complain all you want about the price. We waited less than 10 minutes and were at the top of the Monument. We spent nearly 1 hour at the top and the park ranger staff and security staff were super friendly and helpful. We also didn’t have to chase down tickets because Viator made it super easy and TEXTED everything we needed and made it really easy. We saw MULTIPLE groups milling around the Monument disappointed because they could NOT get tickets and get into the Monument. Again, complain about the $25 all you want. For us it was DEFINITELY worth it!

The monument was fabulous but the retrieval of the actual National parks qr code was a nightmare! Also no guidebook given!!
