FRENCH QUARTER - Since 1718 The French Quarter is one of the oldest communities in the United States. I will take you through the French Quarter & give you a history lesson. You will see the historic landmarks like Jackson Square, The French Market, St. Louis Cathedral, Royal St., Frenchman St., The Mississippi River, Centuries Old Restaurants & Multi-Million $ Creole Cottages. Garden District

GARDEN DISTRICT - Since 1832 The romance blooms as the afternoon is spent exploring memories of New Orleans’ antebellum past, gazing at secluded mansions, wandering down the brick lined sidewalks. Its canopy of oak trees is world-famous, while its characteristic gardens of hibiscuses, crepe myrtles & angel trumpets, make it one of New Orleans' most beautiful neighborhoods. The Garden District has worked its magic. I will share with you the history of the Garden District from the early 1800's. You will see Multi-Million $ Local & Celebrity Antebellum Mansions of Sandra Bullock, John Goodman, Anne Rice, American Horror Story, The Cornstalk Fence & The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Homes. There is also Lafayette Cemetery since 1833, St. Charles Avenue Streetcar since 1835, Mardi Gras since 1857 & Commander’s Palace Restaurant since 1893. New Orleans City Park

CITY PARK - Since 1854 City Park as magical & unique as the city of New Orleans. This 1,300-acre outdoor oasis has enchanted New Orleanians since 1854, making it one of the nation’s oldest urban parks. The crown jewel of City Park is the world’s largest stand of mature southern live oaks, which includes a Grand Oak that dates back over 800 years. These unique trees are known for their distinctive sculptural shape - some of the oldest trees have limbs that are twice as long as the oak is tall. You will also see the Museum of Art, Sculpture Gardens, Big Lake, Botanical Gardens, Children’s Museum, Amusement Park, Story Land, Miniature Golf, Café Du Monde since 1862 & the Cypress Swamp from 1718 that New Orleans was built upon. Fantastic tour if you are interested to know about the culture and history and other areas of interest in New Orleans beyond what Bourbon Street has to offer. The tour was exactly as described and Paul was very generous with his time. He worked hard to tailor the content to our particular interests, encouraged questions, and was a fun and very interesting travel guide. If you are interested in touring the city, we would definitely make this an activity at the beginning of your visit to help orient yourself and get recommendations on what else there is to do and where you might like to go. He promised us by the end of the tour he would convince us to come back and bring our kids with us one day. I was a skeptic, but he succeeded! Thanks Paul for a very enjoyable and engaging experience.

Perfect personalized tour and a great value! After reviewing at least 100 options, we picked this tour primarily because it was private and enclosed on an abnormally cold NOLA day. We were very impressed from the beginning. Paul was very organized from the start, he reached out to let us know he'd pick us up at our hotel and sent us a couple docs about the city. He arrived early in a very clean RAV4 that was the perfect size for easy conversation and easy navigation of the city. The tour itself was very interesting and informative, all tailored to our interests. This was our 3rd trip to NOLA and we learned so much in our 2 hours with Paul! The tour shaped the rest of our trip and left us with a future to do list. We highly recommended Paul's tour over and over again and will continue to do so!

This was a great tour. Paul is a very good driver and he gave us a great overview of the city. He took us places we would never have found on our own. He also provided a list of places and restaurants to visit. Great tour!
