Incredibly interesting and informative. The guide knew things about the area that my wife, who had lived in the area didn't know. Food was very good with lots of varieties.

Spud is the BEST! My hubby and I were visiting San Francisco (from Atlanta) on our 26th Wedding Anniversary and booking this tour was like spending time with family and friends. He's articulate, knowledgable, and has a GREAT sense of humor! Book this tour...you won't regret it!

What a birthday surprise! Spud, our guide, did a phenomenal job of weaving the history and culture of North Beach and SF with 5 great food stops. His choices were spot on - Italian sandwiches, pizza, roasted vegetables, pasta (cacio e Pepe), flatbreads on some of the best focaccia I've ever had and of course, gelato. Spud was fantastic - a retired travel writer, he was a wealth of knowledge about SF and the state. Even as a Bay Area local, we learned so much.
