This was a AWESOME experience!
My fiancĆ© and I are pre-honeymoonin! š It has been absolutely the worst before we even left home, Texas. We had a trip planned to Belize that got cancelled. Replanned to Costa Rica which also got cancelled last minute but we still had time off and and purchased plane tickets. So at the last minute we rebooked to Hawaii. Extremely clueless on what to do here. Nothing planned. We walked out our hotel and just began walking and looking. Ran into Aloha Tours as we were walking, purchased tickets with Mendoza. (Mendoza, very down to earth, chill, relaxed, sold us on the hike in seconds.)
š„³ Guys, our tour guide Ian was phenomenal! š¤©
Extremely down to earth and relaxing! Definitely very respectful with a great sense of humor. My fiancĆ© and I are pretty quiet and reserve. It was very easy to be open and relaxing. Meet new people. To be yourself, and feel free in such a different environment. Ian was very knowledgeable about the History of Hawaii, enticing family history, and great advise on places to visit and eat at after your tour. Heās the person you DEFINITELY want to go on tour with! We laughed from the time we got on the bus until we got off. We also had a good group of people. Everything flowed so well.
***1st Coffee Stop***
Delicious coffee farm.
***Waterfall***
We love the out door. The sight is amazing. We love all the lushly green beauty! š³ š“
(May want to take a light rain jacket- nothing major)
***Shrimp Truck****
I honestly expected the food to NOT be good.
#1 shrimp plate, canāt go wrong. Delicious. Wish I ordered 2 plates š. (Cash Only) You do pay out of pocket.
***More Coffee & Nuts***
Nice little stop, everyone loves freebies. Nuts and free coffee to test with nice little surrounding shops.
***Beach***
š Itās Hawaii, all the beaches are beautiful! š
šØ ****DONT FORGET****šØ
Light rain coat, tennis shoes/water shoes/ little beach towel, swim trunk/bathing suit, ~$100 cash, sunscreen, little sweater for the bus ride
Just a side note from review on money and spending. I personally think you canāt put a limit to a certain degree on fun. When youāre enjoying yourself, I wouldnāt put a price limit on my fun! Yes itās a little pricey, BUT it is definitely worth it. Yes you can get on a city bus that is much dirtier, do these things on your own, but you donāt get the opportunity to get the knowledge and background of the place and find out interesting facts. YOU ARE IN A TOURIST ZONE THINGS ARE GOING TO BE MORE EXPENSIVE, be prepared to pay for the sights and scenery just as any other place that is considered a tourist place. PLUS, itās a holiday weekend.
