What To Expect

Mokoli’i Island

officially called Mokoli'i, this site has earned the nickname Chinaman's Hat from its resemblance to the straw hats that the Chinese immigrants wore.

Kahana Bay Beach Park

Surrounded on three sides by the majestic Ko'olau Mountains, Kahana Bay is one of the best-kept secrets of windward Oahu. Local residents like to camp here during weekends, so this is when the beach can get busy.

Laie Point State Wayside Park

From here you can enjoy stunning scenic views of the ocean lapping against the rocky coast and the offshore seabird sanctuary await visitors to Laʻie Point State Wayside.

Kawela Bay

This is one of the most secluded beaches on Oahu. It is located near the Turtle Bay Resort and it is a perfect spot to unwind. You may bath in the calm water and enjoy the sandy beach, which is narrow and backed by coconut palms and ironwood trees.

Sunset Beach

Waimea Bay

This is one of the most popular beaches in the whole island. Surfing the Bay, along with Sunset Beach and the Banzai Pipeline, is considered almost a pilgrimage among many pro-surfers that fly in from all around the world to partake in the daring action.

Laniakea Beach

More commonly known as Turtle Beach for its beach side residents, Laniakea Beach is also part of the 7-Mile Miracle, which makes up an area in the North Shore that is prime for big surfing waves during the winter time. You may get to see the big turtles laying in the sand!
