North Shore Stand-Up Paddleboard Lesson

Overview

Soak up the lush landscape of Oahu’s North Shore on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP). During a 2-hour lesson, suitable for beginner paddlers, you’ll receive instruction before balancing your board on the calm waters of the Anahulu River, abundant with sea turtles and other marine life. With no more than three students per instructor, enjoy a personalized session tailored to your skill and fitness level. Choose from multiple options: a small-group, semi-private or private family lesson in the morning, midday or afternoon.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Minimum age is 8 years for the small-group lesson
It is recommended that you bring sunglasses with a strap, a hat or other sun protection, and wear a swimsuit or clothing that you don't mind getting wet

This was our first time doing SUP, great company to go with. Carole was very helpful and accommodating in setting up and arranging our lesson. She arranged to have Braden as our instructor for the lesson. He was very patient and extremely helpful and encouraging throughout. Very polite, respectful and knowledgeable. A great instructor for our first lesson. Will definitely recommend the North Shore Surf Girls team We hope to come back Terry and Lynn

I booked a private paddle board lessons with the NS Surf Girls and loved it. My instructor, Lai met me at the Haleiwa Boat Harbor and took me up a river located just to the north of the harbor. Her instruction was spot on and very useful, especially for a firs timer. We saw sea turtles and let the wind blow us back to the starting point on the way home. Over all it was fun and very relaxing. Next I'm going to try the surfing lessons.
