Northern Lights Seasons: from August 25 to April 25.
(It will be at 10:30pm or 11:00pm. But we start a little late at 11:30pm from March 20 to April 25.)

We can’t promise to let you see the Northern Lights, which is Mother Nature that we cannot control. It is a natural phenomenon.

The weather or Aurora activity may change during the tour.

Even though everything is good or not good (Weather and Aurora Activity) when it starts, the weather or Northern Lights' activity always changes, and other conditions may change. It will be the natural things involved, which causes a lack of lights or low visibility.

We pick you up at Hotels listed.
(You may get an email about Pick up time and Location.)

With Photo Service we will upload your photos into OneDrive or Dropbox linked. It takes 2 days to send a URL linked.

The Lights were phenomenal! The service could have been better. We were picked up at our hotel in an unmarked SUV, which made us feel uncomfortable getting in with a stranger. He was very difficult to understand and wasn’t listening when asked questions. Chairs, refreshments, bathroom facilities, blankets, etc would all have been welcome benefits for the price paid

Hello, We are wondering who you were. You expected a Lodge Viewing Tour, not Chasing Northern Lights. It is not a private tour - Max travelers per product: 14. So, we could have other clients as noticed before. He is an expert and photographer with 15 years experience. We never heard about clients complaining with him. We are still proud of him. He was one of BESTs. Because we are chasing the northern lights with SUVs, we did not mention that we provide Chairs, refreshments, bathroom facilities, blankets, etc. In order to chase lights we were driving and following the lights. We cannot provide chairs, blankets, etc. No one expects bathroom facilities as well. We cannot provide those things. We are not an aurora viewing company with a lodge. We cannot stay at a lodge in order to chase the lights. You might not understand how the tour went. Please let us know if you have any questions. Leah Alaska Journey Tours.

It was so much fun to see the Aurora dancing with Sarah and Joe. They are professional and know where can see the BEST Aurora. Joe is also so kind to take everyone's photos. I am grateful to join this tour

Logistics: We were picked up directly from our hotel at 10:30pm on 1st September. It was a minivan kind of thing with 7 tourists and the driver. The forecast predicted high aurora activity but getting a view was doubtful due to cloudy weather. We were given a disclaimer that it was a best effort service. At first we were taken to a location which was very cloudy so we were taken to a different location called North Pole from where we got the best view.l and they clicked professional photos for us. Then we were dropped back to our hotel at the end. Experience: Amazing experience! We got amazing views from the spot were we were taken to. We are not good at capturing photos ourselves so their professional photography was super important for us. You can visit alaska102 account on Instagram for sample photos. Our driver Joseph was so enthusiastic and was ready to capture as many photos as we wanted. He was also suggesting different poses. The activity lasted for an hour or more and he took photos throughout.
