Northern Lights Seasons: from August 25 to April 25.
(It will be at 10:30pm or 11:00pm. But we start a little late at 11:30pm from March 20 to April 25.)

We can’t promise to let you see the Northern Lights, which is Mother Nature that we cannot control. It is a natural phenomenon.

The weather or Aurora activity may change during the tour.

Even though everything is good or not good (Weather and Aurora Activity) when it starts, the weather or Northern Lights' activity always changes, and other conditions may change. It will be the natural things involved, which causes a lack of lights or low visibility.

We pick you up at Hotels listed.
(You may get an email about Pick up time and Location.)

With Photo Service we will upload your photos into OneDrive or Dropbox linked. It takes 2 days to send a URL linked.

More than just a tour, it was a really pleasant experience! All the three times that we went chasing Auroras with them were simply so warm and joyful. David is amazing at choosing various spots all over to make sure you get a great view, and he is great with the camera for you to bring back really nice memories, but on top of all, he is simply a personality that will keep you engaged and make you laugh!!! We went chasing Auroras as soon as we arrived in Fairbanks with a different tour guide that only took us to two spots and pretty much gave up. We were introduced to Alarka Journey Tours by another couple and we are so glad we were!!! The entire reason for this trip was because I was planning to propose under the Lights and they were all so helpful in making sure the moment was captured. I am truly grateful we met them, and my now fiance is of course beyond happy. We are already thinking of when we're coming back to Fairbanks and doing this with David once again.

I can’t fully express how amazing this experience was. We did the tour three times with David and every time he made it highly enjoyable. Apart from his professionalism, he has a great personality and brought so many smiles to our faces. He showed us many beautiful places and took spectacular pictures! I highly recommend this tour to anyone💫

The Northern lights are not easy to find, a lot of factors affect your chances of seeing them. But if you want to maximize your chances of not only seeing them, but also capturing the experience on camera, you have to go Aurora chasing with AJT! Our guide David was absolutely amazing - I think he is the best at chasing the Northern lights and taking photos of you with them. He is so sweet and funny, and definitely wants you to have these photos to cherish this experience forever! Our group had a blast with David, we laughed the entire night :D
