Our driver Curtis was knowledgeable and very helpful. The dog sled ride was awesome. The meal was better than I expected, and the Norther Lights were dancing basically the whole time we were there.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the ā€œAurora Dinner/Dog Sled Tourā€ excursion booked with 1st Alaska Tours. The local tour guide (Joe) was super entertaining. Joeā€™s enthusiasm for his work and for Alaska was contagious and resulted in a great experience. The dog sledding was so unique and definitely apropos for an adventure in Alaska. The musher (Bob) was a great guide and the dogs seemed so happy to go out for a run. The salmon dinner in the yurt provided by Emma and her crew was delicious; my wife who doesnā€™t particularly care for fish even found it to be delectable. Beautiful photos of the view of the majestic northern lights was the ā€œicing on the cakeā€. This tour was a great combination of fun, adventure, and beauty! My advice would be to wear gloves that allow the use your smart phone since pictures are a must but bare hands and the cold don't mix particularly well!

The dog sledding was a wonderful experience!! We had an excellent musher. He was from Belgium. Very personal and informative. He loved the dogs. The trail was beautiful...the moon shining brightly. Made for great pictures. We saw the northern lights and got great photos! We enjoyed experiencing the Yurt! We had never been in one. Meeting the dogs was an experience. Very clean eating experience. We would do it again. The lights are something that gives you a feeling of mystery. The food was good. O'erderves were very nice. A chance of a life time.
