Runamuk Rides doesn’t simply offer rental service but also assistance in creating a memorable and adventurous experience. That's because our service begins right after you book. Our rates includes assistance with finding lodging, discounts with area businesses, help in determining what to pack, developing a customized route, trail maps and detailed directions and of course, the equipment itself
Runamuk offers one and two person snowmobiles; 2 & 4 person UTVs, and 11 to 17 person boats.
All our equipment is new or late model with state of the art engines, suspension, and features.
We have numerous rental programs for snowmobiles ranging from 2 hrs to 7 days.
Machines can generally be taken out any time after 10am, 7 days per week. We close at 5pm.
For those who request delivery service be sure and put down the local address where you want the equipment delivered on the booking form.
Delivery Service Available but we sit alongside three major off-road trails. Park and ride. All our watercraft rentals include a trailer so you can pickup and deliver yourself.
Navigating the northern Wisconsin trail system is well marked and area trail maps are very useful. Runamuk staff will help you become familiar with the maps and will go-over a customized route with you.
Cancellation policy: cancel 15 days or more within the start of your rental and receive a full refund less a $75 per reservation cancellation fee. Cancel within 14 days of the start date and receive a 50% refund.
We are open 7 days per week from 10am to 5pm (rentals are from 10am-5pm). All equipment is tendered to our guests fully fueled and must be returned that way. We sell gasoline on sight or you can chose our prepaid fuel option. ring in . We do not offer any insurance of any kind and assume full liability so check with your insurance agent if you want to look into coverage.

Runamuk requires all operators to be at least 16, have a valid driver’s and equipment operators' license and, if a minor, accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us.

(Written copies available upon request). Another copy will be present at the time you book, when you receive your booking confirmation and receipt via email and when you arrive at Runamuk. Snowmobiling is a fun but an unpredictable sport. Since you and your group are fully liable and we offer no insurance coverage whatsoever make sure you are prepared to assume any risks.
Runamuk offers 4 hour, daily (10am-5pm) and up to 7 day watercraft rentals.
Our watercraft fleet consists of three classes on pontoon boats: Cruisers, Performance and Specialty.
Our fishing boats are 16.5' single console style with trolling motor and all the options you'd expect. All come equipped with fish finders, livewells, bimini tops (pontoons only), fast and efficient electric start, 4 stroke engines. Just turn the key and go.

They were good to work with , however the sled we rented had bug screen for a windshield. . It was a very cold and windy day , no plug in for.my heated shield , so vision was poor and my neck up was very cold. Thought the 2-up would be more comfortable than a bump seat that bolted on. Should have asked more Questions I guess.

I am interested in hearing more from you. Please call me to discuss: 715-222-9911. Just to clarify: you were using your own helmet which had an electric shield. The helmets we provide (free of charge) have a breath deflection / face mask system that evacuates the warm moist breath your exhale out of the helmet preventing condensation and frost. The helmets do this without power but rather through design. Therefore we don’t need nor have electric shield power ports installed on our snowmobiles. Before you went on your ride we informed you that the machines do not have electric shield ports. We recommended you use one of our helmets instead. You elected, however, to use your own helmet which fogged. If you’d used our helmet you would not have fogged. The windshields on our machines are of standard height provided by the manufacturer. They are designed to provide an ideal amount of air deflection without creating too much wind resistance to maintain power. When you are riding in -15 weather at say, 40 mph, you are going to get blasted by cold wind regardless of the height of the windshield. As we suggest in our FAQ’s and when you showed up for the rental: wearing an actual snowmobile purposed balaclava that’s thick enough for the temperature is critical. Much of the cold air infiltration comes in through any gaps between the helmet and the chest. Appropriate balaclavas mitigate that. The gaiter / neck warmer you had on obviously not up to the task. The passenger seat you rode on was a Ski-Doo two person seat with hand rests. It is not an aftermarket jump seat. Like all one and two person seats, we bolt them securely to the chassis. Otherwise they would fall off.

It's never about the destination, but always about the journey. We just had a great day out on a couple of sleds with my family. The trails were in great shape, every where we stopped the local restaurants were really helpful with trail information etc. The equipment we rented was like new, the heated seats and handle bars are much appreciated. I think next time we will try a guided tour so we don't miss anything.
